Google responds to CyanogenMod controversy

Google 给Cyanogen 发出了 C&D 律师信，Cyanogen 在 Twitter 上面做出解释并希望 Google 能够理解和容许，然后最新的情况是，Google 的 Android 团队(众所周知他们的品味很烂)回应了他的解释，在 Android Developers Blog 上。

 

其实事情很简单，Google 事实上也没有太邪恶，他们并没有阻止 Cyanogen 或者其他人对 Android OS 本身的 Hacked&Modded(相反是很高兴看到)。Google 的意思也很明白，就是 Android OS 本身开源，但 Android 上面的一些关键应用，譬如说是 Gmail 和 Google Maps 又或者 Android Market，这些并不开源，这些应用是 Google 自己的(Android 是 OHA 的)，是他们做出来支持 Android 发展的。所以针对这些应用的修改或者反编译都是不对的，违反版权和或者什么什么法规云云。所以 Google 的律师团队才会发出 C&D Letter.

 

好吧，其实我觉得 Google 就是不爽 Cyanogen 把 Market For Android 1.6 放出来了。Google 自己都还没正式发布呢，就让广大围观群众用上了。奇怪的是，Google 想要统一 Android Apps 发布在一个地方，但是他确独占拥有着 Market 这个平台。还不准那些未授权(和 Google 有一个"很专业名词"的合作)的手机使用这个平台。最后，这么说来，其实 Google 也挺邪恶的。
